&lt;p&gt;I think Visual Studio 2008 Team System Test Edition is made based on this guidance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And for today, Visual Studio 2010 is the best tool to apply the guide.&lt;/p&gt;

The guide is a very nice piece of work but I think I would like to see some examples to achive these via some standard tools.

How many hours of test planning does the average web shop plan for when assessing development hours to the amount of resource hours to develop test cases, scripts, execute and provide read out of the end product?  For example, is there some industry average that eCare (account maint functions on the web) for companies such as utility companies use?  This includes the time it takes for the resources to assess the requirements of the project.    &lt;br /&gt;
